TORONTO -- The Edmonton Rush defeated the Toronto Rock 13-10 on Sunday to set a National Lacrosse League record with their 13th Antworten

CLEVELAND - Flames shot skyward from two giant Browns helmets as rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel ran onto the field for his first start. Authentic Wholesale Nike Shoes .Thats as close as he came to providing a spark on Sunday.Manziel looked overmatched and overwhelmed for much of the game as the Cincinnati Bengals wrecked his anticipated debut as an NFL starter with a 30-0 smashing of the Cleveland Browns.Playing in front of NBA megastar and friend, LeBron James, and a Cleveland crowd loaded with No. 2 jerseys, Manziel failed miserably. He never got to flash his money sign and the 22-year-old did little to convince the Browns that he is their quarterback of the future.Looked like a rookie, played like a rookie, Browns coach Mike Pettine said. He made some obvious mistakes that typically a veteran quarterback wont make.Manziel completed 10 of 18 passes for 80 yards with two interceptions — a third was nullified by a penalty. He finished with a 27.3 rating, hardly what the Browns (7-7) were looking for when Pettine benched veteran Brian Hoyer and put Clevelands playoff hopes on Manziel. The Browns lost their third straight game, and any chance of winning the AFC North. It wasnt all Manziels fault, but he didnt play well enough to inspire any of his teammates either.I felt like it was a fail on my part for the position, and its tough, said Manziel, Clevelands 21st quarterback since 1999. Its going to take time. Its a process for sure. Yeah, Im a rookie, but thats out the window. I needed to play better. The Bengals (9-4-1) were determined to not let Manziel get the best of them. They chased, harrassed and even taunted Manziel, with several Cincinnati defenders mimicking his signature money-rub gesture — just as Pettine predicted they would. We didnt want to let him be Johnny Football versus us, Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap said.Manziel looked completely lost at times. Although he denied that the stage was too big for him, it certainly looked that way. It had to be tough on Hoyer, who led the Browns to a 24-3 win at Cincinnati last month, but was relegated to a backup role after 13 games starting for his hometown team. The Browns picked up just five first downs, were outgained 347-107 and shut out for the first time since 2009. It was Clevelands worst loss since a 41-9 defeat to Pittsburgh in the 2010 finale. The first-place Bengals, on the other hand, stayed in control of the division with their fourth straight road win. Were still in control of everything, quarterback Andy Dalton said. We know what we are facing. Here are five other things of note from Cincinnatis runaway win:KING OF THE HILL: Bengals running back Jeremy Hill backed up his strong words about the Browns by rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns. After the teams played last month, Hill ripped the Browns, saying theyre probably worse than I thought. He provided bulletin-board material but then went out and ran all over Cleveland.HADENS INJURY: Browns cornerback Joe Haden left in the first half with a shoulder injury. Clevelands best defensive player is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday. The loss of Haden further taxed a depleted secondary and then rookie cornerback Justin Gilbert went out with a concussion.MAJOR MISTAKE: The Browns only legitimate scoring chance ended when Manziel forced a pass into the end zone and was picked off by cornerback Adam Pacman Jones.Whether youre playing Pop Warner or if youre 6 years old playing in the driveway, you cant throw that ball, Manziel said. Thats 100 per cent on me.FOR DAD: Bengals kicker Mike Nugent made three field goals, capping an emotional week following the death of his father. Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said because Nugent couldnt practice to be with his family he was at the stadium kicking at night with his wife, brother and sister.Thats the kind of guy you want on your team, Lewis said. We havent ever done much as far as giving out a game ball after the game, but Mike Nugent got one. Guys understand that with anybody thats been through losing a loved one.NOT ENOUGH: The Browns ran just 38 offensive plays, the fewest in the league this season.___AP websites: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL Cheap Nike Shoes From China . The United States clinched the final berth into the Ford Worlds, March 28-April 6 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, on Saturday in Blaine, Minn. Wholesale Air Max For Sale . The underachieving franchise finished 17th in the 19-team league with a 6-17-11 record this season. "Our soccer team is absolutely in complete disarray," said Leiweke, drawing laughs during an Empire Club luncheon speech about the future of MLSE teams and plans to improve them. http://www.cheapshoesnike.com/ . Hes coming back to fulfil them. One of Europes top coaches, Blatt was hired Friday by the Cavaliers, who ended a sweeping, 39-day search with an out-of-the-box selection they hope changes their fortunes.DETROIT -- Reggie Bushs long run was a highlight -- one the Detroit Lions nearly wasted with the kinds of mistakes they can ill afford once the season starts. "The big thing that kind of hurt us tonight were penalties and turnovers," quarterback Matthew Stafford said. "You have those, you make it tough on yourself. We cant do that." Bushs 86-yard touchdown gave the Lions an early lead, and they eventually came away with a 13-12 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday night. But Detroit also turned the ball over three times and committed 15 penalties, looking a lot like the team that frittered away a playoff spot last season because of costly mistakes in close games. Calvin Johnson played for the first time this preseason, catching two passes for 27 yards, but Stafford was intercepted once and the Lions struggled in the red zone. Blake Bortles threw for 158 yards and a touchdown for the Jaguars. Jacksonville started Chad Henne, but Bortles -- the third pick in this years draft -- was impressive in relief. He completed 10 of 16 passes, including a 13-yard touchdown to Allen Hurns. The Jaguars were about as mistake-prone as the Lions, turning the ball over twice and committing 12 penalties for 101 yards. Detroits 15 penalties went for 131 yards, including a roughing the passer call on Ndamukong Suh. "For the most part, I havent seen too many (penalties) that were simply physical -- that they couldnt do anything about it," said Detroit coach Jim Caldwell, who took over in the off-season after Jim Schwartz was fired. "The ones we had were preventable, and thats what well work on." Detroit was stopped on fourth down inside the Jacksonville 5-yard line in the first half, and Mikel Leshoure lost a fumble deep in Jaguars territory in the fourth quarter. Ryan Broyles had a fumble at the Jacksonville 1 overturned on replay. George Winn scored from there to give Detroit a 13-12 lead with 7:12 remaining. Even when Detroits top players were in, the Lions struggled at times. Stafford nearly had two passes intercepted on the first drive, but Bush scored on his long run later in the quarter, showing he can still outrun defensive backs in the open field. "My whole mentality was jusst not to get caught from behind," Bush said. Nike Shoes Wholesale China. "I dont want to come back to the sideline and have guys talking trash and laughing at me that I got caught from behind." Stafford was intercepted by defensive end Andre Branch on the first play of Detroits third possession. Jacksonvilles Josh Scobee kicked a 38-yard first-quarter field goal but was replaced by Kasey Redfern because of a quadriceps injury. Redfern made a 34-yarder in the second quarter but had a 45-yard attempt blocked in the third. Henne went 9 of 14 for 70 yards and avoided any major mistakes. But Bortles, the first quarterback taken in this years draft, was able to move the Jaguars down the field. Jacksonville started at its own 5 with 1:43 remaining in the first half, and Bortles was able to guide the Jaguars into position for Redferns kick as time expired. In the third quarter, Bortles took the Jaguars from their own 14 to the Detroit 27 before Redferns kick was blocked by Xavier Proctor. On its next drive, Jacksonville went 49 yards in four plays for its only touchdown. Coach Gus Bradley maintains that Henne is still the starter, and Bortles seems fine with that at this point. "This has been a perfect situation for me, because it has been a stress-free learning experience," Bortles said. "I knew on Day One that Chad was going to be the starter, and Ive been able to just focus on learning from him. When hes on the field, Im his biggest fan, because I want to see things going right and learn how it works in the NFL." Hurns had seven catches for 113 yards. Jacksonvilles Denard Robinson, a star quarterback when he was at Michigan in nearby Ann Arbor, got a nice cheer from the crowd in the first quarter when he made a tackle on special teams. NOTES: Detroit FB Montell Owens was evaluated for a possible first-quarter head injury, and Caldwell said he didnt have an update afterward. Lions LB Kyle Van Noy sat out with an abdominal injury. ... Bradley said Scobees injury wasnt too serious, but DT David Carter left in the fourth quarter with a sprained MCL, and DT SenDerrick Marks is expected to have an MRI on a shoulder injury. FS Winston Guy Jr. hurt his left ankle, but tests came back negative. ' ' '
